(re)connect
Sunday, October 18th @3pm, 4:15pm & 5:30pm – complete
Howard County Conservancy
10520 Old Frederick Rd
Woodstock, MD 21163
Kinetics Dance Company’s newest work, (re)connect, explores the search for a connection to nature, to ourselves and to each other. Inspired by recent events, such as the global pandemic and the fight for social justice/equality, this piece embodies the indispensability of compassion for humanity. We hope this performance provides disconnection from the fast-paced, media-driven world that surrounds us, and offers a moment for meditation, reflection, and peace. Come experience this contemporary dance work as you are guided through various outdoor locations at the beautiful Howard County Conservancy.
Kinetics Dance Company is grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with musician, teacher, and dance accompanist, Ian Otto Collins, who will provide live accompaniment for (re)connect. We’re also delighted to welcome special guest performers from Kinetics Dance Theatre’s Apprentice Company, comprised of aspiring dance artists.
